Towers of Aghasba
Towers of Aghasba is a 3D open-world multiplayer adventure with city-building and ecosystem development. It is an ambitious game with a AAA-level scope made by an indie studio Dreamlit Games, and released in Early Access in November 2024 on Steam & PS5.
As an early member of Dreamlit Games, I was involved in several aspects of the game’s development that went beyond my role as a game designer.

Responsibilities
- Worked as a Senior Game Designer.
- Been a part of the studio since it entered pre-production in May 2021.
- Responsible for designing several aspects of the game, including systems design, UI/ UX design, gameplay design, quest design, narrative design, and content design.
- Created and owned several player, world, and core systems in the game from conception to final implementation.
- Contributed to the design and implementation of every feature in the game.
- Worked closely with engineers, artists, and animators to plan, design, implement, and polish features.
- Constantly worked with QA to receive and iterate on playtest feedback.
- Oversaw the development and implementation of several production pipelines throughout the game’s development.
- Handled several auxiliary aspects of game development including marketing, localization, creating pitch decks, and communicating constantly with our Discord community.

As a core game designer, I had the opportunity to design several systems in the game. The focus of the systems I designed was to:
- Cater to the role the system played in providing the intended player fantasy and experience.
- Use existing features and functionalities whenever possible to fit with the available bandwidth and scope of the team.
- Be flexible and scalable to be repurposed for as many features as possible.
